The art style of Cogshel is based on research into kids aesthetics and visuals. I have split this section into the different features of the game:

Watercolour Photoshop Brush Pack
This brush pack was used for all the Cogshel assets. I wanted to keep a consistent look and feel, so I downloaded a brush pack to achieve similar effects (with subtle variations) throughout. This was extremely effective and I could easily create unique water colour textures. I also liked how they were semi-transparent so I could layer and create my own desired opacity.
