Why did I pick this topic?

I chose to look at CBT because I have been really interested in the subject of mental health, however I've never really considered the coping methods or means to overcome conditions such as depression and anxiety. I find it interesting that CBT is the most widely-used therapy for multiple mental illnesses and would like to learn more about it. I myself have undergone CBT sessions for a few weeks, so it is yet again another topics that is personal to me. Understanding well-being techniques and employing them in everyday life could be the solution to many problems that people face, and CBT may be the answer.
