After speaking to Emma about my presentation (documentation of this can be found here), I was able to create a strong foundation for my game idea, which added originality and set it apart from existing pet simulators.
Negative emotions choices are based on the most common negative emotions in children - Some sources provided differing emotions, but the majority of them were the same. I’ve highlighted in green the emotions that appear frequently on the sources that I found and will use those for now. There are also some that are labelled differently but are generally the same e.g. unhappiness & sadness. The ones highlighted in orange are potential options.
